Working out at home is not the same as working out at your favorite gym or yoga studio. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t have an effective at-home fitness and self-care routine that you end up loving. You may even like your new normal so much that you continue it well after the pandemic has ended.
Sheila Johnson embarked upon her personal health and wellness journey five years ago. As an ambitious woman working at a fast-paced tech company, she pulled 80-hour work weeks to climb the corporate ladder. Even though she was making a six-figure salary, behind-the-scenes, however, it was another story.
Having prioritized work over health, she soon realized that if you don’t listen to your body, your body forces you to listen. She suffered headaches, stress and was frequently sick.
Fast-forward to today, she’s left the corporate and runs her business and life on her own schedule. She’s implemented a daily self-care routine that balances work life with taking care of her mental, emotional, and physical health. She spends time with friends and her husband. There’s also space for yoga, meditation, and exercise.
Now looking, feeling, and working better than ever before, she’s seen so much personal success with her health and wellness routine that she has begun sharing it with others. By creating this website, I hope that sharing my story will help you, too.
Through her website, Well Sheila, her mission is to share her story in the hope that it can help motivate others to help people to take charge of their health and wellness.
